Our first visit to the Maldives was over 20 years ago as auditors for British Airways, Kuoni and other UK based tour operators. Since that time we have carried out many independent hygiene and safety contracts and have developed close relationships with several suppliers.
In 2012 IGI embarked on a process of HACCP implementation and accreditation with Crown and Champa Resorts (CCR). This led to six of their resorts achieving compliance and HACCP accreditation from IGI.
